RS CVn Binary Star Systems

This is the page to get access to the 1988 University of New Mexico Department of Physics and Astronomy Ph.D. dissertation of Eric R. Nelson. The dissertation is titled Power Spectra Decomposition of 36 RS CVn UBV Photometric Light Curves from the First Two Years of the Automatic Photoelectric Telescope.

The original document was over 800 pages in length and was written using the SMART System wordprocessor, PaintBrush, AutoCAD and some cut-and-paste. I have ported the entire document to Word over the years and changed the formatting which ended up shortening it by some 200 pages. I am in the process of converting the document to HTML so the entire thing will be available on-line. As the sections are converted there are added to this site. Contact me if you need immediate access to the work.

There are a lot of special symbols in these pages, as well as tables (no frames however). Please take a moment to look at the images displayed below. If you don't see two nearly identical columns of greek and special characters, then the work will not display correctly.
